Hey there, i'm Jailyn!

Jailyn Genyse (she/they) is an actor and teaching artist born and raised in Houston, TX. She now calls St. Louis her home after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Some of her favorite credits include Shug Avery in The Color Purple (COCA), # 7 in The Wolves (COCA), and Jordan in An Unlikely Hero (Metro Theatre Company). Jailyn can be found submerging herself with young artist to pave the way for their future endeavors. Offstage, she enjoys pilates, cooking, content creation, and surrounding herself with loved ones.
