Hey there, i'm Jailyn!

Jailyn Genyse (she/they) is an actor and teaching artist born and raised in the great city of Houston, TX. You might have recently seen the production of Shakespeare in the Streets: The Game's Afoot in St. Louis. Some of her favorite credits include A Christmas Carol (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis), The Wolves (COCA), Matilda (COCA), and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Sargent Conservatory). Jailyn can be found submerging herself with young artist to pave the way for their future endeavors. She can be seen teaching all around the Saint Louis area when she is not in production for a show. Offstage, she enjoys cooking, meditating, working out, and surrounding herself with loved ones.
